FAQ
Is Camp Mograph all-inclusive?
Yes! Your ticket includes lodging, meals, snacks, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), workshops, evening events, and all on-site activities. Once you arrive, you can focus on connecting, creating, and having fun… without worrying about extra costs.
What if me and my partner/friend want to share a private cabin together? Do we BOTH need to purchase single rooms?
Only one person needs to book the upgraded room (Cottage or Tiny Home). During checkout, they will simply enter your email address. No need to panic on launch day! We will email you a private link within 7 days to purchase your 'Bunkmate' ticket. Your friend's private room purchase guarantees you will be able to buy a ticket to stay with them.
How many tickets can I purchase at once?
Only 1 ticket at a time. This is because we need to gather vital information (dietary needs, allergy, medical, & bunkmate requests) from each camper during checkout.
I can't go anymore, can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Upon purchase, funds are immediately committed to secure venue accommodations, catering, and custom event swag. While we cannot issue refunds, your ticket is fully transferable. You may sell your ticket privately to another attendee. Once a buyer is found, we will assist in transferring the ticket registration into their name. We are also happy to help you search for a buyer within our Discord community, though we cannot guarantee a replacement sale.
I bought my ticket. Now what?
We'll be contacting campers with more information as the year goes on, including requests for any additional camper information we may need. We know the checkout process can be hectic, so we saved some of the additional camper questions for later. CHECK YOUR EMAILS!
How do I get to Camp?
We offer scheduled shuttles to and from the airport on arrival and departure days to make the trip easier. You can add this option at checkout. Once you register, you'll begin getting emails with information about camp, such as shuttle signup times and other important info. Eventually, we’ll open up the camper portal where you can sign up for one of our shuttles. CHECK YOUR EMAILS! If you're not taking the shuttle, we highly recommend renting a car. While Uber and Lyft are technically options, the ride can be very expensive and not always reliable due to the camp’s remote location. For those driving themselves, parking is available at camp.
Are linens provided this year?
No, campers will need to bring their own pillow, blanket or sleeping bag, and towels. Linens are provided in private cabins and tiny homes, only. We also HIGHLY recommend a pillow topper for your bunk. These are camp bunk mattresses like you had as a kid.
Can I bring a tent and sleep in that instead?
Yes! Pitch your own setup in our tent village. Just be sure to purchase the BYO Tent ticket to reserve your space.
Can I request a non-coed cabin?
Absolutely. During ticket purchase, you’ll be able to explicitly request a same-sex cabin assignment. We work hard to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable in their lodging.
What happens on Arrival Day?
Camp opens at 12 PM on Thursday, September 24th, 2026. We’ll kick things off with dinner around 5 PM, followed by our first Fireside Chat under the stars, and an evening of social mingling at the bar.
Can I share a community cabin with a friend?
Yes, if you want to be in the same cabin with a friend, just email us after purchase and we’ll make a note of it.
Will day passes be available if camp sells out?
Unfortunately, no. You must have a Tent or Cabin ticket to attend camp.
What’s the weather like that time of year?
September in the Colorado Black Forest is beautiful but unpredictable. Daytime highs are usually comfortable (around 65-75°F), but once the sun goes down, the high altitude means temperatures can quickly drop into the 30s or 40s. Layers are absolutely mandatory. Bring warm jackets, hoodies, and beanies for the evening fireside chats. Boots are always a PLUS in case of rain. It can get muddy.
Are there vegetarian or vegan food options?
Yes. Because our 2026 home is the JCC Ranch Camp, all official meals provided by the kitchen are strictly Kosher. We also easily accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-specific diets. Just let us know your requirements on your camper information form so we can coordinate with the kitchen.
Will there be bugs or wild animals?
We are in a pristine, 380-acre Colorado forest. You will likely see deer and plenty of natural wildlife. Bug spray is always a good idea, and we ask that you respect the environment and do not leave food outside your cabins/tents.
Will there be a shuttle from the airport?
Yes. We offer the option at checkout to add a scheduled shuttle from Denver International Airport (DEN). Denver is roughly 1.5 hours away. Exact shuttle schedules will be provided closer to the event. Once you register, you'll begin getting emails with information about camp, such as shuttle signup times and other important info. CHECK YOUR EMAILS!
What should I pack?
We’ll send out a full packing list before the event, but essentials include clothes for all weather, comfortable shoes, toiletries, a flashlight or headlamp, bug spray, and anything you need for your own comfort (plus your linens/towels if you're in a cabin). Costumes or props are always welcome for themed nights and karaoke! Night #1 is typically called "Day-Onesie."
Do I need to bring any gear or a laptop?
Nope! Camp Mograph is intentionally unplugged. Our workshops are designed to be hands-on and analog, so no need to bring your laptop unless you want it for travel or personal use.
Is there Wi-Fi at camp?
Wi-Fi is extremely limited and only available in select areas. Don’t count on having a reliable connection. Camp Mograph is designed to be an unplugged experience, so we encourage everyone to disconnect, be present, and enjoy the break from screens.
What’s the alcohol policy?
Alcohol will be served responsibly in the evenings during designated times. We also offer a full range of creative non-alcoholic drinks so everyone can enjoy the vibe.
Is Camp Mograph 21+?
Yes. Due to the nature of the event (including alcohol), all attendees must be 21 or older.
What if I have accessibility needs or medical concerns?
We do our best to accommodate all attendees. If you have specific needs, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions, let us know on your camper info form or contact us directly—we’re happy to help make camp safe and welcoming for everyone. Please note that Elbert, CO sits at roughly 7,000 feet of elevation. If you have respiratory or heart conditions, please consult your doctor regarding high-altitude travel.
Can I sponsor or volunteer at Camp Mograph?
We love working with sponsors and occasionally have volunteer opportunities. If you're interested, reach out to us via the contact form on the website. If your brand wants to get involved, reach out via the contact form.
What is the bathroom and shower situation?
It depends on your ticket! Most accommodations (Community Cabins, Platform Tents, BYO Tent) utilize shared, detached bathhouses. These are clean, modern, and located just a short 30-second walk from the cabins (or a 5-minute walk from the tents). If you prefer ultimate privacy, upgrading to a Cottage or Tiny Home guarantees your own private, en-suite bathroom.
What is the altitude like? Will I get altitude sickness?
JCC Ranch Camp sits at an elevation of around 7,000 feet. It is common to feel a little short of breath or fatigued for the first 24 hours while your body adjusts. The best defense is hydration. Drink twice as much water as you normally would, limit alcohol on the first night, and take it easy!
I saw a mention of a "SCAVENG3R Hunt". What is that?
The Googie Frontier is full of secrets. This year, we are running a massive, completely optional, camp-wide scavenger hunt. You'll team up with friends to solve physical puzzles, find hidden artifacts in the woods, and unlock the lore of the camp. More details will be transmitted at orientation. Some you may find on your own. 🤔
Can I bring my whole team from my studio?
Absolutely. We offer Studio Fleet Packages for groups of 5+ campers. This includes a master invoice (so your accounting department doesn't hate you), discounted group rates, and prioritized lodging to keep your team in the same cabin block. Reach out to us directly to set this up!
