What's the weather going to be like?

September typically ushers in early autumn weather, which can be quite pleasant. You can generally expect mild to warm days and cooler evenings. Average daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-60s to mid-70s°F (around 18°C to 24°C), while nighttime temperatures can drop to the 50s°F (around 10°C to 15°C).

While the days are often sunny or partly cloudy, there is always a chance of rain, so it's a good idea to prepare for the possibility of showers. Overall, this time of year offers comfortable weather, ideal for outdoor activities and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. However, since weather can be unpredictable, it's wise to check the forecast closer to your event date and advise attendees to pack accordingly, including layers and rain gear.

Yes!  If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know when filling out your Camper info and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Can I bring my IBM PS/2?
No. Actually, send us an email with a photo.

Will there be wild animals, bugs and insects?
Yes. we are in nature.

What airport should I fly to?
Chicago O'Hare (ORD) will be your best bet. It's also where our airport shuttle will be picking up & dropping off. You can also fly into Chicago-Midway (MDW), but no shuttle will be offered from that airport.

Will there be shuttles to and from O'Hare airport?
Yes! This year we have a private charter. The trip from the airport to the camp is about 45 minutes. We will offer 3 shuttle times on Arrival and Departure day and will post those times soon.
