THE CAMP

This year Camp Mograph will be held at JCC Ranch Camp. JCC is a premier overnight summer camp located in Elbert, Colorado's beautiful Black Forest. Spanning over 380 acres of pristine pines, rolling hills, and miles of trails made for hiking, biking, talking, or just resetting your brain. You'll sleep in cozy cabins, create in the upgraded program spaces, and spend your days bouncing between nature and new ideas. The Camp Mograph experience aims to build self-confidence, gain new skills, and foster friendships.

*Not all activities will be available at Camp Mograph. Sign up for Camp Updates and learn more about what will be available.

This year, we're excited to offer several different overnight accommodation options. From cozy private stays to classic shared cabins and rugged camping, you can choose the setup that fits your comfort level, budget, and adventure style.

WORKSHOPS

Trade pixels for paper and keyframes for craft. Our curriculum is designed to get you off your screens and into the wild. These aren't your typical software tutorials… they are hands-on, messy, and deeply collaborative sessions where you build something real. From physical drawing and analog pixel art to the roots of animation and optical toys, each workshop forces you to make permanent decisions and solve problems without an "undo" button. It’s a complete mental reset for the modern artist. Could there be a screen or two here and there? Of course. “It’s the 90’s.” But we try to touch grass as much as possible.

FIRESIDE CHATS

When the sun goes down, the legends come out. The most valuable conversations at Camp Mograph happen away from the podium. Our nightly fireside chats are intimate, unrecorded, and off script. We bring together a curated group of industry leaders to share their seasoned perspectives on the evolving landscape of creative work, scaling studios, and surviving the industry. Without the distraction of slides or screens, this is your rare chance to sit under the stars and ask the hard questions that never get answered on a public stage or social media feed. Depending on the season and burn bans, fires may only be in designated areas.

ACTIVITIES

Your Camp Mograph ticket includes a whole lineup of on-site adventures and hangouts! No extra fees, just pick your vibe and jump in.

High Ropes Challenge Course
Go big! 7 self-guided high elements, a 50' rock wall, and twin 500' ziplines. Run the full course in about 30 minutes. (Fri + Sat after workshops)

Archery
Try your hand at archery with an intro lesson to get you set up for success. The range fits up to 6 archers at a time, so stick around and take as many turns as you'd like. (Fri + Sat after workshops)

Sports Facilities
Keep it casual or get competitive on the 60,000 sq ft artificial turf field and full-size basketball court. Basic equipment is available, just show up and play! (All day, every day)

Pool
The annual post-brunch pool party is back! This is a heated pool with an enclosed fence. Expect kegs, music, and a competitive game or two! (Sunday afternoon only)

Karaoke
After the fireside chats wrap up you can head to the Art Barn for nightly karaoke, equal parts talent show and group therapy. Grab the mic or cheer from the sidelines, sing something ridiculous, silly, or serious. Make the kind of camp memories you'll be missing all year. (TBD/Most Nights)

Bingo
Not your typical bingo game, this is a full-on experience. Expect big reactions, friendly chaos, and a whole stack of prizes as we play a few rounds. (Sunday night)

Misc & Unofficial Activities
The Frontier is yours to explore. Beyond the official workshops and scheduled events, camp is packed with spontaneous, unofficial ways to kick back and connect. Do some morning yoga, embark on the camp-wide SCAVENG3R hunt, or take a break from the crowds to hike acres of pristine trails. Grab a drink from the bar for some friendly competition with classic yard games like cornhole, Jenga, and intense rounds of late-night beer pong, or head inside to deal out your favorite card games, play video games. Whether you're having an impromptu jam session in the music corner, or just grabbing a blanket and a buddy to stargaze under the legendary, zero-light-pollution 100% full Harvest Moon, there is always a space to unwind and vibe out with fellow campers.

NIGHTLIFE

The Frontier comes alive after dark. When the workshops & chats end, the camp atmosphere transforms. Visit the bar for curated cocktails, local brews, and non-alcoholic options at our central hangout. Check out music from mograph DJs, fun visuals, experiments, and play games. The evenings are designed to foster serendipity, providing a dedicated space for high-energy connection and a welcoming, celebratory atmosphere. Whether you are debriefing from a class, discussing a new collaboration, or making a new lifelong friend over a drink, the nightlife is where the creative community truly solidifies. It is a social experience that values presence over productivity.

FOOD

Let's be honest: you aren't coming to the woods for a five-star culinary tour… it is traditional camp food! However, we work incredibly hard with the venue to make sure every meal hits the spot and keeps you energized. Because our 2026 home is the JCC Ranch Camp, all official meals provided by the kitchen will be strictly Kosher. We also take your specific dietary needs very seriously. During the ticketing process, we will ask about any food allergies or restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) so we can coordinate directly with the camp staff to ensure everyone is safely accommodated and well-fed throughout the week. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, as well as snacks and late-night snacks are all included. But remember to pack your own stash, as the nearest corner store is quite a walk. ;-)

Modern Comfort in the Woods.
Worried about roughing it? Don't be. While the majority of our accommodations feature detached facilities, our shared bathhouses are clean, modern, and just a short 30-second walk from the Community Cabins (and a 5-minute walk from the Tent Villages). If you prefer your own space, be sure to upgrade to a Cottage or Tiny Home to secure a private, full bathroom all to yourself.
